Time of The Year

February is the slowest month of the year for lawn service. The leaves are settled in and starting to deteriorate. They then become mulch and fertilizer for the soil. However this is the month to start thinking about stopping the germination of spring and mid-summer weeds. We do this with a pre- emergent. If you are a do- it- yourself lawn treatment guy, then I would suggest looking for a good weed and fertilization program to get started now. We will actually be applying a pre- emergent to all the bed areas to help keep those most troublesome weeds down in the plant and bed areas.

The Village at Hickory Mill

“We hired Covenant Enterprises a few years ago to maintain our common areas for the neighborhood. It has been a pleasant experience to say the least. Hal is above our expectations in service with a great and professional attitude and operation of their services. I would recommend this company to take care of your lawn maintenance needs.”

The Lafferty Family

“Hal and his team have been taking care of my lawn now for several years. They are very professional as they come all dressed alike and company signs on their vehicles. I had asked for a special service since I still wanted to get out and work a little in my yard and Hal accommodated me with just mowing and trimming. This allowed me to still work a little in the yard but not have to worry about the weekly mowing that is so important for the stipulations of our neighborhood.”

About Us

I had a to be continued story going from last month on the heritage of my family and what it has instilled in me. So I wanted to share this to further the point.

I have heard this story all my life. One night long ago my grandfather’s barn caught on fire. They worked to put out the fire, but it was too much with the old dry wood and hay. So by morning it was totally burned to the ground. This next sentence is what told me that there was importance in carrying on the heritage of my family and the Cumming area in my business. The next day after the barn burned the whole Midway community came together brought supplies and goods that was lost in the fire and totally rebuilt and replenished my grandfather’s barn. I am proud of my heritage and proud of the community I was brought up in.

Customer of the Month

The Lafferty family wanted to still continue to do some yard work themselves but the weekly maintenance was just too much, so we worked together to create a service just to meet the desire for lawn service they wanted.
